Description
Wood Plaque - Ema with a picture of a toy snake The plaque is unfinished wood rectangle with a gabled top. Two stripes of wood are glued to the top with the longer one overlapping the other at the peak. They over hang the ends of the plaque. A green articulated snake toy is painted on the front in a backward S - shape. It has red eyes, mouth and nose and black scale markings. Red ink kanji seals on lower left "Person born in snake year will be rich" and upper right front "Matsu Shin" (name of artist). On the back red ink lines and kanji are painted inside a rectangle "Wish list". Two holes near the top of the plaque hold a tied red silk cord for hanging.
