Chinese male doll A: Papier mache head, hands and feet; cloth body containing rubbery substance. Painted peachy colored skin with bald head and small amount of painted white hair on back, eyebrow, mustache and goatee, red lips, brown and black eyes, rosy cheeks and rose colored wrinkles around the eyes, rose colored finger and toe nails. He wears a blue cotton tunic and trousers with ties at the bottom of each leg; and a coconut fiber vest with a paper backing, white stitching and blue piping and a black braid loop and knot closure. He carries a basket made from light and dark brown molded plastic suspended from white cotton twill tape. There is a hole in his clenched right hand with traces of glue where something was once inserted.
