Turban - Artifacts

Description
One silk headcloth of multi-color plaid design. The plaid is made up of varying widths in green, magenta, violet, orange, blue, yellow, and white. Loose-weave, with self-edge on the two longer sides, cut edges on the other sides. Alternating wide (2.25") and narrow stripes. Donor's father collected a number of textiles white stationed in the Philippines as an Army officer - before 1917.
